This shake is 100% Smudge. I hateful, cereal and ice cream? It's a 10 twelvemonth old'due south dream! At first I scoffed the thought considering it'south a pretty simple concept but and so what shake isn't? And when I recalled how Momofuko Milk Bar does a cereal milk ice foam, I realized this might be pretty much GENIUS!
Posting a milk shake in the centre of summer isn't really a novel idea, but information technology wasn't until I heard about Shake Week hosted by Julie of The Little Kitchen and Lindsay of Honey and Olive Oil that I jumped on the chilled bandwagon to join in some serious chilling. And give Smudge a reason to slurp to her little centre's content.
Shake Week is a celebration of cool sips and Julie and Lindsay accept gathered a gaggle of other bloggers to participate in a week of milkshakes. There are some serious flavors going on, with lots of sweet slurping. You really should hop around and see what anybody has to offer.

About the recipe:
Like Momofuku Milk Bar'due south Cereal Ice Cream, I steeped the crunchy cereal in milk to infuse the cereal flavour. In the terminate, I added a little more than cereal to the milkshake to really bump upwards the flavor and add a piffling crisis.
Because milkshakes are then simple it's another reason to use really neat ingredients. I used Real® Seal milk, dairy topping and ice cream because existent ingredients make ALL the departure in cold summertime treats when dairy is involved. And when wouldn't summer call for sugariness summer water ice cream treats?
When I order a milkshake I'1000 looking for an ultra rich, super thick milkshake. Which isn't the easiest to replicate at home. I arctic my glass and let the ice cream mellow so simply the smallest amount of milk is needed then the milkshake stays thick. Using a strong blender like the KitchenAid Diamond Blender makes blending that much easier and keeps the shake thick since it blends it quickly.
I sprinkled the top with an extra crunch of cereal and a sprinkle of cinnamon saccharide. A selection of fun, wide mouth straws is essential for slurping.
