How To Remove Metrozone From My Phone

Y'all can correct-click the app icons to uninstall them.

And then, but apply Windows 8 similar you use Windows 7.... Only get to the desktop, and use information technology commonly.  You'll never see or be forced to utilise the new tablet-oriented features.  You can proceed using all your familiar favorite programs (Chrome, Firefox, iTunes, Adobe, whatever you want), and it will work only similar vii.  Works neat, particularly on business computers with a mouse.  aYou could never even tell I'm using 8, because I just use the desktop like I have for the by twenty years.

Okay, in Windows 7 I usually go along a spreadsheet open up and net explorer open up in order to google formulas. Sometimes I keep a scientific calculator and a PDF document open up too. These are all applications I need to complete the individual tasks related to my task. My entire chore consists of spreadsheets and forms that crave external information.

How, Please TELL ME, how can I brand Windows eight behave like Windows seven and keep multiple programs open up at the same time? I desire them to sit down next to each other so I can view multiple windows at once... as I have always washed. How exercise I do this? I need to use STATA, Wolfram Alpha, spreadsheets, and ofttimes other programs besides. Clicking through them and trying to think programming instructions is making me lose my heed. How do I make this work?

Well, I've got internet explorer, a calculator, and a PDF open and it absolutely volition not permit me put the PDF on the aforementioned desktop screen equally the other two programs. It does the split screen matter where the PDF takes up i/iii of the infinite and the computer and internet explorer take up 2/iii. I tin can switch which i is the main view, but then the calculator and the browser are stacked and appear so small I cannot read them.

Am I missing something? Instructions/screenshots would be hugely appreciated. I honestly am asking for assist since I need to do this for piece of work and our tech back up is, well, not supportive.

Employ the same PDF reading program you've used on Windows 7 before.  Since Windows has never came with a PDF reader before, the i you probably used was Adobe Reader, which is by far the almost popular.  One time you install information technology, PDF files volition open on the desktop the way you prefer (you lot can even uninstall the metro PDF reader if you want, it's really just built for people using tablets).

In general the best fashion to "Use Windows 8 like vii" is to just practise it: use the aforementioned programs you used in 7, and it volition work identically and perfectly in viii.  Don't experience forced to utilize anything out of the box.  Heck, Windows 7 didn't even come with PDF or e-mail or calendar or anything else, and just because some do some with 8 doesn't mean you have to use them: the stuff you used on 7 will yet work just fine, especially for folks that aren't using a tablet.

Problem is that you shouldn't have to resort to using third party software to use your figurer the way it worked before, especially because Microsoft promised that it wasn't such a drastic modify and that it was easier to use, that is complete BS.

Information technology does work similar before. You must be confused. Windows 7 didn't come up with an e-mail or PDF programme either. So y'all had to use a 3rd party program before too. Nothing has changed now, still need a tertiary party plan to make it "work like before".

I remember that what may be happening to you is that when yous open that PDF file, information technology is opening it up in the reader that comes with WIN eight that only functions with the modern UI.  Therefore, when you open up the PDF information technology switches you to the modern UI and in WIN viii Mod, yous tin can only do the side-by-side matter.

What you want to do is stay in the desktop mode when yous open up that PDF file.  To do that you lot need to go to Adobe and download Adobe reader.  That will install the traditional desktop version of the PDF reader.  The next time you attempt to open the PDF, right click on it and choose "open with" and choose the traditional desktop version of Adobe Reader and tell it to use it from at present on instead of the Modern UI version.

Promise that helps.

Getting to know Win 8 just similar the rest of you!
